Ana Perez earned her graduate degree in mental health counseling from New York University and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Mrs. Perez completed her clinical internship and one-year fellowship at NYBH under the supervision of Dr. Ryan Fuller and now serves as a staff clinician. She is experienced providing psychotherapy in both individual and couple modality. Ana utilizes an evidence-based approach when working with a wide range of clients differing in age, background and presenting problem.
Ana Perez has received training in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response prevention (EXRP), Anger Management, Cognitive Therapy (CT), Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Maternal Mental Health. Ana provides therapy both in English and Spanish. She is a member of Phi Betta Kappa, the oldest Academic Honor Society in the Nation and The American Counseling Association.
