Dr. Natalia Rappa earned her Psy.D. in School-Community Psychology from Hofstra University. She is a staff therapist in the Rockville Centre office and a certified school psychologist. She provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families using a Cognitive Behavioral approach to treatment. Dr. Rappa encourages clients to take an active role in their treatment by identifying goals and creating individualized treatment plans. She seeks to create a warm client-centered environment in which clients are not only able to overcome challenges but are also able to identify and utilize their strengths to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. When providing treatment for children and adolescents, Dr. Rappa collaborates with families, schools, and other providers to provide support across settings.

Dr. Rappa has experience providing therapy for children, adolescents, and adults with various emotional and behavioral disorders. She has received specialized training in Mindfulness, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Positive Psychology techniques and approaches to treatment. Dr. Rappa is skilled in conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to assess and diagnose emotional, behavioral, developmental, and intellectual disorders (i.e., autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders).
