Panic Attack

A Panic Attack is a frightening event, especially for the person experiencing one for the first time (and for her family as well). It begins suddenly, during waking hours or jolting him from a deep sleep state. The attack includes physical symptoms (e.g., racing pulse, dizziness, nausea, and throat dryness) as well as psychological ones (e.g., fear on the part of the person that she is dying, general uneasiness, loss of concentration, confusion, and a feeling of impending doom). Some panic attacks appear to be triggered by a stressful event or tied to it in some way, and others arise “out of the blue” with no apparent cause or association.
